Logistics Assistant

About the role

Manage and arrange the shipment of products, materials, and supplies. Coordinate with shipping lines, brokers, forwarders, truckers, vendors, customers, and others involved in the shipment process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and arrange the shipment of products, materials, and supplies
• Coordinate with shipping lines, brokers, forwarders, truckers, vendors, customers, and others involved in the shipment process
• Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain all shipment record summaries and keep them updated
• Vessel booking and monitoring, SI submission, and rate acquisition
• Permit Declaration and Documentation
• Provide additional backup support for shipping and logistics operation departments

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration or Business Management
• Good communication skills in English (Oral and Written)
• Detail-oriented and keen on identifying errors
• Adaptable to changes in role as may be required
• Can work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Prior knowledge of SAP or other Freight and Warehouse systems is an advantage
