Logistics Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability for daily operations.
• Update and maintain accurate stock-in and stock-out records in the system.
• Monitor daily inventory movements and ensure inventory data is accurate and up to date.
• Check and verify Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receiving Forms, and other logistics documents.
• Coordinate stock storage according to designated locations and ensure proper inventory organization.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, logistics providers, and internal departments on deliveries and stock-related matters.
• Resolve issues related to delivery, inventory discrepancies, stock movements, and documentation.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with monthly/quarterly stock take.
• Prepare inventory and logistics reports for management.
• Coordinate stock replenishment requirements with the purchasing team.
• Monitor vendor/logistics provider performance and follow up on delivery issues.
• Assist in reviewing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor logistics performance indicators such as delivery lead time, receiving, documentation efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Relevant working experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or supply chain is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge or experience using SQL system is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail, especially when handling inventory records and documentation.
• Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
