Logistics Assistant

Job Summary
A Shipping Assistant is responsible for supporting the shipping and logistics operations of a company by preparing shipments, maintaining shipping records, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, Delivery orders, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with transportation providers and courier services to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Verify shipping information and ensure accuracy of orders before dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal departments.
• Maintain shipping records and inventory documentation.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming and outgoing goods.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations.
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good in computer skill and familiar with Microsoft applications
