Logistics Assistant

As a Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the logistics department. Your role will involve inventory management, coordination of shipments, documentation, and ensuring smooth logistical processes to meet organizational goals.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor accurate records of inventory levels.
• Receive and process purchase orders.
• Prepare and pack orders for shipping.
• Arrange transportation for outbound shipments.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
• Ensure proper documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare shipping labels, invoices, and other required documents.
• Maintain organized records of shipping and inventory documents.
• Conduct quality checks on received and outgoing goods.
• Report any damaged or defective items and initiate returns or exchanges.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage area.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Skill sets/Experience we require:

• Previous experience in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, if required.
