LOGISTICS ASSISTANT (SAMPLE HANDLING & DRIVER SUPPORT)

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, check and verify customer samples against relevant documentation.
• Prepare, label and arrange samples for subsequent processes.
• Handle loading, unloading and movement of metal samples, including forklift operation where authorised.
• Coordinate sample transfers between Workshop and Testing Departments.
• Maintain proper sample storage, identification and tracking records.
• Consolidate, pack and prepare tested samples for return to customers.
• Support delivery and collection of samples from customers and vendors when required.
• Provide backup driving support, including transportation of colleagues for site assignments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred. Candidates without forklift certification may be considered, with training provided by the company.
• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, material handling, warehouse operations or delivery.
• Able to handle physical work and follow safe material-handling procedures.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
