Logistics Associate

Role Overview

We are a furniture company looking for a hands-on Logistics Specialist to manage receiving, inventory allocation, and dispatch for our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for keeping shop-floor materials organized, preventing production delays, and staging components accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials, parts, and hardware against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Organize factory inventory and stage components for assembly and production lines to prevent workflow bottlenecks.
• Conduct pre-delivery defect inspections on finished goods and manage immediate touched-up/rectification work prior to dispatch.
• Manage outbound shipping, protective packing, courier scheduling, and freight logistics.
• Monitor stock levels proactively, tracking components and flagging potential shortages before they impact production schedules.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) while maintaining shop-floor safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Good spoken English

• Technical Experience: Practical background in at least one of the following areas:

  • CNC Machinery: Familiarity with CNC tooling, raw stock (metals/plastics/wood), or machine shop workflows.
  • Electrical Engineering: Experience handling wiring, circuit boards, power components, or electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Furniture Assembly: Hands-on experience with hardware, structural assembly, joinery, or flat-pack logistics.

• Logistics Skills: Proven experience in warehouse, factory, or supply chain operations.

• Work Ethic: Strong spatial organization, attention to detail, and the ability to keep up with a fast-paced production schedule.
