About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics Clerk to join the Nippon Paint (HK) Company Limited team in Tsuen Wan District. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory records and coordinating between various departments to maintain optimal supply chain performance. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering quality paint products to our customers on time and in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and recording incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry into the warehouse management system
• Managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks, identifying discrepancies, and updating inventory records
• Preparing logistics-related paperwork with meticulous attention to detail
• Coordinating with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and accurate delivery information
• Assisting in the organization and labelling of products within the warehouse to maintain efficient storage and easy retrieval
• Monitoring stock levels and alerting management when replenishment is required
• Supporting the logistics team with general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and report preparation
• Ensuring compliance with warehouse safety standards and best practices in material handling
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the logistics operation

What we're looking for

• Secondary education or above, with relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Logistics Clerk or in a similar warehousing or distribution role, ideally within the manufacturing or paint industry
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and warehouse management software; experience with SAP systems is advantageous
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong numerical and data entry capabilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese) to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation is a plus
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Reliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
