At Boutiqaat , we're looking for a Freight Coordinator based in China who can juggle bookings, customs documentation, and warehouse timelines without missing a beat. If you know your way around an ERP system, love a well-organized tracker, and take pride in making sure every shipment lands exactly where and when it should, this role was built for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Keep Shipments Moving

• Coordinate, book, track and monitor import and export shipments, keeping pace with inventory needs and stock replenishment plans.
• Schedule freight around stock planning, campaign items, and time-sensitive inventory.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to confirm bookings, delivery schedules, reroutes, or holds — and keep management informed of any changes or delays.
• Review shipment documentation such as bills of lading, airway bills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Assess shipment documents from external logistics/freight companies and liaise with clearance agents.

Stay Ahead on Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all freight documentation complies with local customs regulations, import/export laws, and internal company standards.
• Coordinate with third-party agents to confirm product licenses, registrations, and labeling requirements are complete.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records for customs, 3PLs, and government authorities, ensuring full traceability.

Connect Freight & Warehouse Operations

• Collaborate with inventory planning, warehouse, and fulfillment teams to align shipment timing and schedules.
• Coordinate shipment arrivals and departures with the warehouse team for efficient loading and unloading.

Bring Clarity Through Reporting

• Generate weekly and monthly reports with full shipment details for company records and data analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date trackers for delivery status, lead times, and exceptions — giving stakeholders real-time visibility and flagging SLA deviations early.
• Spot recurring delays or inefficiencies in the freight workflow and escalate them to optimize time, cost, and inventory.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics/freight coordination, shipment management, and customs handling.
• Proficient in ERP systems and tools.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and supply chain management is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English , both written and verbal.
• Currently located in China, with the ability to work in-office.
• Sharp organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Solid knowledge of import/export regulations, customs processes, and supply chain workflows.
• Ability to proactively manage delivery schedules, changes, and delays.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize work under pressure.
• A natural communicator who delivers excellent service to internal and external stakeholders alike.
• Comfortable tracking, following up, and reporting across shipments and freight management.
