Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:

MRSC Solutions LLC is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to help manage daily transportation, shipping, and delivery operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, communicating with drivers and customers, tracking shipments, and keeping logistics activities organized and on schedule.

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with drivers, carriers, customers, warehouse teams, and internal staff to ensure shipments move efficiently from pickup through final delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on delivery status
• Monitor routes, schedules, and estimated arrival times to help ensure on-time deliveries
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and related records
• Enter and update shipment information accurately in transportation or logistics systems
• Assist with resolving delivery delays, scheduling changes, and transportation issues
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and shipment requirements with warehouse personnel
• Verify shipment details, quantities, addresses, and delivery instructions
• Follow up on completed deliveries and maintain accurate proof-of-delivery records
• Help monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and transportation requirements
• Provide professional customer service and respond promptly to shipment-related questions
• Support the logistics team with additional operational and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, shipping, warehousing, or supply chain operations preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and computer-based logistics systems
• Experience with TMS, WMS, GPS, or fleet-tracking software is a plus
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle changing priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or business education is a plus

Pay: $24.97 - $28.82 per hour
