Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Backhaul Coordinator to work on a contract basis. This role involves managing and optimizing transportation logistics for efficient delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate backhaul routes to maximize vehicle utilization and reduce empty miles.

• Track and confirm delivery schedules with drivers and dispatch teams.

• Monitor freight documentation, including bills of lading and proof of delivery.

• Resolve discrepancies in shipment data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to align logistics operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with transportation management systems is required.

• Knowledge of freight documentation and compliance regulations is required.

• Ability to analyze route efficiency and optimize logistics is required.

• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders are required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software is required.
