Enterprises Freight Systems is looking to grow its team of Logistics Coordinators, who successfully facilitate the logistics planning of our customers. The position joins a team with tremendous tenure and freight forwarding knowledge. We have processes in place and technology to help advance the needs of our carriers, shippers, customers, and consignees.

This position also involves direct communication with all the parties involved with logistical planning; therefore, interpersonal skills are important to relay information to varying parties and directions.

Job Description:

The job of a Logistics Coordinator revolves around fulfilling our customers’ transportation needs. This process starts with a load tender request, which can be customer facing or from a shipper, to which we relay that information to our customer. We then find a carrier based on our standards and assign them the load. The transportation needs of our customers come in all shapes and sizes, which provides a wide variety of opportunities for our people to experience the industry. From assignment, then we monitor the transport of the product to the destination. Responsibilities Communication will all parties involved in the transportation process Ownership of loads assigned Proper document acquisition and management for the transportation industry and company standards for insurance and freight forwarding status Carrier assignment from a distinguished pool of normal carriers and through load boards Monitor phone calls and email volume to communicate activities

Requirements:

3-5 years of brokerage/freight forwarding experience

Ability to take responsibility

Effective communication skills

Drive to be organized in a changing environment

Adaptability to market conditions

Detail oriented and while multitasking

Pay: $27.00 - $33.65 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
