Logistics Coordinator

A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing and monitoring the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. The role involves coordinating shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling transportation documentation. Logistics Coordinators work closely with drivers, brokers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth and cost-effective transportation operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shipments from pickup to delivery
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers regarding load status
• Schedule pickups and delivery appointments
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (BOLs, PODs, invoices)
• Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays or issues
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate shipment records in logistics systems
• Support billing, freight claims, and administrative tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and timely updates
