What they need
Ever wondered how fresh New Zealand produce makes it from local soil to dinner tables around the globe? Here is your chance to be the conductor of that orchestra.
We are a leading group of horticulture companies passionate about growing, marketing, and distributing premium fresh produce. Operating on-site at our head office and distribution hub in Māngere, Auckland, we are looking for a sharp, proactive Logistics Coordinator to power our domestic and global supply engine from the centre of the action.
This isn't just about moving boxes—it’s about high-stakes orchestration, strategic route optimisation, and playing a pivotal, hands-on role in connecting our growers with global markets every day.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
- Mastermind Global & Local Transit: Plan and orchestrate seamless end-to-end freight journeys across air, sea, and land, ensuring product freshness every step of the way.
- Connect the Chain: Act as the critical on-site bridge between sales teams, site managers, and growers—setting timelines and keeping production synced with demand.
- Optimise & Innovate: Research freight routes, airlines, and shipping lines to build smarter, faster, and more efficient logistics networks.
- Guard Quality & Compliance: Partner with our Compliance team to ensure documentation, tracking, and quality control standards exceed industry best practice.
- Solve Real-Time Puzzles: Track live shipments and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment to keep product moving without a hitch.
What You Bring to the Team
- The Foundation: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, alongside 2+ years of hands-on logistics experience.
- Systems Savvy: Strong familiarity with inventory and logistics management software, with the digital agility to master new tools rapidly.
- Problem-Solving Drive: Sharp analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a knack for keeping cool under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative Energy: Exceptional communication skills paired with an adaptable, upbeat "can-do" attitude that thrives in a dynamic, on-site environment.
