Duties

• Manage warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and inventory control
• Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics planning to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation to secure optimal pricing and service levels
• Utilize data analysis skills with tools like Tableau, Excel data analysis, SQL, and ERP systems (such as AS400 or SAP) to monitor supply chain performance metrics
• Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, production scheduling, and trade compliance for international trade regulations
• Maintain accurate records of freight movements, shipping & receiving logs, inventory levels, and procurement activities using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems
• Support warehouse operations by practicing safe manual handling techniques and operating forklifts when necessary
• Engage in customer service by providing timely updates on order fulfillment status and resolving logistical issues promptly
• Participate in category management initiatives to optimize stocking strategies and improve supply chain analytics

Skills

• Strong data collection and analysis skills with proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, SQL queries, and data visualization tools like Tableau
• Extensive experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms such as AS400 or SAP, and inventory management systems
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, materials handling techniques, shipping logistics, freight management, and NVOCC operations
• Proven ability in procurement negotiations, vendor management, sourcing strategies, and trade compliance adherence
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively
• Familiarity with demand planning software (MRP systems), production planning tools, pricing strategies, and supply chain analytics
• Hands-on experience with forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration within supply chain operations
• Ability to analyze complex logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency gains
• Practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on inventory control, shipping & receiving accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
