Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the day-to-day movement of goods, vehicles, drivers, and shipments. The role requires close communication with customers, suppliers, transporters, drivers, warehouse teams and internal departments to ensure deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation, delivery and collection activities.
• Arrange trucks and drivers according to customer requirements and shipment schedules.
• Coordinate loading and offloading arrangements with customers, suppliers, and transporters.
• Communicate loading locations, offloading locations, timings, cargo details, and delivery instructions to drivers.
• Monitor trucks and shipments from loading point to final delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers regarding trip status and delays.
• Follow up on vehicle arrival, loading, transit, and delivery status.
• Collect and verify delivery notes, PODs, loading documents, and other relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, routes, rates, and completed trips.
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or trading is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, locations, ports, industrial areas, and major logistics routes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trucks, drivers, and shipments simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and basic office applications.
• Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• UAE logistics/transportation experience will be an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
