We work with individual clients, dealerships, collectors, enthusiasts, and businesses to coordinate the transportation of everything from everyday vehicles to high-end, luxury, exotic, and specialty vehicles.

Our goal is simple: provide professional communication, reliable transportation, and a better experience from the moment a shipment is booked until the vehicle is delivered.

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and highly dependable Auto Transport Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team.

About the Position

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the operational side of our vehicle shipments from the time a carrier is assigned through final delivery.

This is a high-communication, high-accountability position. The Logistics Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact between OAS and our transportation carriers and will be responsible for keeping our clients informed throughout the shipment.

All carrier communication with OAS clients will go though the Logistics Coordinator.

The right candidate will be comfortable managing multiple shipments at different stages, communicating professionally with drivers and clients, identifying potential problems before they become major issues, and taking ownership when something doesn't go according to plan.

Key Responsibilities

• List and manage vehicle transportation loads on applicable load boards and transportation platforms
• Coordinate with carriers to secure transportation for OAS clients
• Schedule vehicle pickups and deliveries
• Send and manage initial Broker-Carrier Agreements (BCAs) and required carrier documentation
• Confirm carrier availability, pickup dates, delivery dates, locations, and vehicle details
• Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation
• Communicate directly with carriers throughout the transportation process
• Obtain and communicate pickup, transit, and delivery updates
• Proactively monitor shipments and identify potential delays or issues
• Immediately address carrier delays, missed appointments, mechanical issues, communication problems, and other shipment complications
• Keep OAS clients updated regarding the status of their vehicles
• Communicate delays and changes to clients promptly, professionally, and clearly
• Coordinate solutions when a shipment does not go according to plan
• Maintain professional relationships with OAS's carrier network
• Ensure carriers follow OAS procedures and documentation requirements
• Verify pickup and delivery information and required documentation
• Work closely with OAS management and sales staff to ensure a smooth handoff from booking to dispatch
• Maintain organized and accurate records for every shipment
• Help improve OAS dispatch procedures and communication standards as the company continues to grow

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Previous experience in auto transport, freight, logistics, dispatching, or a closely related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with delays or difficult situations
• Comfortable communicating by phone, email, text, and transportation platforms
• Strong computer skilly
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Dependable and responsive during business hours
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strongly Preferred:

• Previous auto transport brokerage experience
• Experience with Super Dispatch
• Experience with Central Dispatch
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience working with independent auto transport carriers
• Familarity with Broker-Carrier Agreeements, BOLs, pickup/delivery procedures, and vehicle transport terminology
• Existing knowledge of the auto transport industry and carrier network

The Right Person for This Role

We're looking for someone who understands that dispatch isn't just about booking a truck.

Once a carrier is assigned, you own the communication and coordination of that shipment.

If a driver is running late, the client should not have to chase us for an answer.

If a carrier stops responding, you need to recognize the problem and take action.

If a pickup appointment changes, you need to communicate it.

If a shipment has a problem, you need to help find the solution.

We want someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and treats every shipment as if the vehicle belongs to someone they know personally.

Compensation

$22-25 per hour, depanding on experience

Approximately $45,760-$52,000 annually based on a 40 hour workweek.

Additional performance-based bonus opportunities may be available.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm CST
