Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

CJ Global is an established consumer electronics company with more than 20 years in business. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments and coordinate with our sales team, warehouse, customers, carriers, and retail partners.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works well under pressure, and takes ownership of each order from release through delivery. Strong EDI knowledge is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outgoing orders with the sales team, warehouse personnel, customers, carriers, and truckers.
• Receive, review, process, and route purchase orders through EDI systems.
• Monitor EDI transactions and help resolve order, shipment, and documentation discrepancies.
• Review purchase orders, shipping instructions, routing requirements, and order contents before shipments are released.
• Plan, schedule, route, and track shipments according to customer requirements.
• Arrange transportation, including same-day and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Prepare accurate bills of lading and other required shipping documents.
• Maintain complete, up-to-date records of shipments leaving the warehouse.
• Communicate with carriers and drivers to ensure prompt pickup and on-time delivery.
• Respond to customer inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Investigate mis-shipments, identify their causes, and help implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare accurate logistics and performance reports.
• Keep accurate records in our inventory system.
• Help maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and service throughout the fulfillment process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, shipping, order fulfillment, supply-chain coordination, or a related role.
• EDI knowledge and hands-on experience are required.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Odoo experience is appreciated.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, communication, or workflow efficiency is appreciated.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
