Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

Freeport Logistics is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to help coordinate shipments, track deliveries, communicate with carriers and customers, and maintain accurate transportation records. The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities while supporting efficient day-to-day logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, vendors, and warehouse teams.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and transportation documentation.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve routine logistics issues.
• Enter shipment information into internal systems.
• Assist with inventory and freight coordination.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous logistics, transportation, shipping, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate data-entry abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
