Logistics Coordinator

W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $40 - $41 per hour

Location: South San Francisco, CA - Onsite Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving duties for our South San Francisco location.
• Triage and respond to shipping requests
• Manage dock activities for large packages, pallets, and freight.
• Support shipment and delivery of temperature-critical packages
• Coordinate third-party shipments, including carrier scheduling, documentation, and communication between origin and destination sites.
• Liaise with researchers and logistics providers on customs documentation, regulatory requirements, and shipping holds.
• Maintain organized staging and storage of equipment, packaging materials, pallets, and boxes.
• Support operational resilience by preparing standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Assist with deliveries of critical consumables, including liquid nitrogen, liquid carbon dioxide, and dry ice.
• Other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager and Facilities Director

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Completion of DOT and IATA training
• Ability to work unsupervised while performing multiple jobs.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
