Logistics Coordinator / 物流协调员

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our international trading and logistics operations, particularly shipments between Malaysia, China, Thailand & Indonesia and other overseas markets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import, export, transshipment and freight arrangements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouses and logistics partners.
• Communicate and coordinate closely with overseas counterparts.
• Follow up on vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, container movements and shipment status.
• Prepare and monitor shipping and trade documents, packing lists, invoices and other relevant documentation.
• Maintain proper shipment records and provide timely updates to management.
• Follow up closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Assist in resolving documentation, customs and operational issues when required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or import/export coordination.
• Good understanding of shipping documentation and international logistics procedures.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin is strongly preferred, as the role requires frequent communication with China and Taiwan counterparts.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and general office applications.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented and able to follow up independently.
• Able to handle multiple shipments and work under timeline pressure.
