The Role
At Peter Sadler Removals and Logistics, we go beyond simply moving goods; we deliver tailored logistics solutions that support the success of our clients’ supply chains. We’re now seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to help plan, coordinate and optimise the flow of goods across our Melbourne operations, ensuring seamless, compliant and customer-focused service from warehouse to delivery.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes real ownership of their work. This is a hands-on role for a team player who can connect the dots between our warehouse, transport and customer service teams.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including bookings, receivals and dispatch, to meet client delivery timeframes.
- Liaise with the warehouse and transport teams to plan workloads and make the best use of people, space and fleet.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and system data, including PODs, stock movements and job paperwork.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, carriers and internal stakeholders, proactively keeping everyone informed and resolving issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.
- Support and foster a positive team environment, aligned with Peter Sadler’s core values of care, integrity and excellence.
