Job Description

Buske Logistics is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support transportation, shipment scheduling, inventory coordination, and daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse teams, customers, and internal departments to help ensure shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.

This role is suited to someone who can manage multiple priorities, solve routine transportation issues, and maintain accurate shipment records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment schedules, transportation arrangements, and delivery appointments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding shipment status.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on delays or delivery changes.
• Maintain accurate shipping documents, inventory records, and logistics reports.
• Assist with preparing bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and other shipping documents.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to support on-time delivery.
• Help resolve scheduling discrepancies and transportation-related issues.
• Update logistics management systems and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to support loading, unloading, and order fulfillment.
• Follow company procedures and applicable transportation and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or warehouse coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems is an advantage.
