Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage daily shipment coordination, carrier bookings, shipment tracking, and logistics documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipments from initiation to completion and maintain accurate records in logistics systems.
• Book shipments with carriers and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support cargo claims by maintaining documentation, providing customer updates, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Create, update, and maintain work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with daily logistics operations and administrative activities as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or shipment coordination.
• Knowledge of carrier booking, shipment tracking, and pickup/delivery scheduling.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
