Logistics Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind efficient warehouse distribution, transportation management, and inventory control. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination across procurement, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities, contributing to the overall success of our logistics functions. Duties

• Manage end-to-end logistics processes including shipping, receiving, and inventory management systems to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Coordinate transportation planning using transportation management systems (TMS) and collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize freight costs and delivery schedules.
• Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including materials handling, stocking, and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize data analysis skills and tools such as Tableau, SQL, Excel data analysis, and spreadsheets to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze supply chain data, and identify areas for process improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies to develop effective solutions that enhance overall process flow.
• Engage in category management and sourcing activities by negotiating with vendors, managing procurement processes, and maintaining supplier relationships for optimal pricing and service levels.
• Support international trade compliance by understanding trade regulations and ensuring adherence during import/export activities.
• Practice cross-functional communication with procurement, production planning, customer service, and warehouse teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all shipping and receiving documents (BOLs, packing lists, invoices, PODs, etc.).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain operations or logistics roles with a focus on warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, or transportation planning.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills using tools such as Excel (including data analysis), SQL, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning software.
• Knowledge of freight management including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), shipping & receiving procedures, and trade compliance standards.
• Experience with procurement processes such as sourcing, vendor management, pricing negotiations, and category management.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners.

Pay: $27.75 per hour
