Logistics Coordinator

Overview

The Logistics Coordinator coordinates the organization’s domestic and international logistics, shipping, warehouse, and inventory activities to support timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and customer orders. This position plans and coordinates collections and deliveries, maintains logistics documentation and system records, monitors delivery performance, resolves logistics and warehouse issues, and works closely with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal departments.

The Logistics Coordinator serves as a key operational resource for logistics and warehouse activities while maintaining accurate records and supporting established service, safety, and efficiency expectations.

Duties

• Coordinate daily domestic and international logistics activities, including collection requests, deliveries, smaller shipments, and other transportation requirements.
• Plan and coordinate logistics, transportation, warehouse, and shipment activities for company orders based on customer, project, and operational requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and process logistics and shipping documentation in SAP, customer purchase orders, purchase orders, shipping labels, customer portals, carrier systems, and other applicable databases and platforms.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, customer warehouses, and internal departments to plan and execute shipments.
• Monitor collection and delivery status, delivery times, and shipping efficiency and communicate delays, discrepancies, or other issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Resolve routine and non-routine logistics, shipping, warehouse, and customer concerns and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Manage logistics-related communications through designated departmental email accounts and other established communication channels.
• Complete required SAP processing for departmental orders following receipt of applicable proof-of-collection, proof-of-delivery, or other required documentation.
• Coordinate warehouse activities related to receiving, storage, inventory, shipping, and movement of materials and equipment.
• Support the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator and provide additional assistance to Service, Production, and other departments based on operational requirements.
• Purchase warehouse and shop supplies when required to support ongoing operations and orders not associated with an assigned project.
• Issue POs pertaining to freight, tariff and custom clearance charges

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse experience, warehouse management, warehouse operations, or a supply chain operations role.
• Knowledge of inventory management, materials management, transportation management systems, transportation management, and warehouse distribution.
• Strong data collection, data analysis, and analysis skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
• Customer service, cross-functional communication, and supplier management experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Forklift operator license or certification optional.

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
