Logistics Coordinator | WFH | Night Shift

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation and logistics operations for a U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable coordinating with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time.
This role requires someone who can manage multiple shipments simultaneously, respond quickly to issues, and maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Schedule and confirm pickups, deliveries, and transportation requirements
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on ETAs, delays, and delivery status
• Proactively follow up on delayed, missed, or at-risk shipments and coordinate resolutions
• Review and maintain accurate shipping documents, including BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations, and related records
• Enter and maintain shipment information accurately in TMS, ERP, spreadsheets, or other logistics systems
• Coordinate changes to schedules, routes, or delivery requirements as needed
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, service issues, and documentation concerns
• Maintain organized records of shipments, carrier communications, and delivery information
• Prepare logistics reports and provide operational updates to management
• Follow established processes and contribute ideas for improving logistics workflows and efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, dispatch, or a related role
• 3 years experience supporting U.S. logistics or transportation operation
• Hands-on experience coordinating shipments, carriers, drivers, or deliveries
• Strong shipment tracking and follow-up skills
• Experience working with transportation or logistics software/TMS is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, particularly in dealing with U.S.-based customers, carriers, and drivers
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other standard office tools
• Willing to work U.S. Eastern Time hours
