Logistics Coordinator (Roving)

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (Roving) to join our Logistics and Motorpool team. The role will support and coordinate day-to-day delivery operations, including truck scheduling, route planning, delivery monitoring, documentation, and coordination with drivers, plants, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily truck trips, delivery schedules, and routes.
• Monitor truck movements, delivery status, ETA, and turnaround time.
• Coordinate closely with drivers, helpers, plants, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide timely updates regarding delivery status, delays, truck locations, and route changes.
• Review driver logs and monitor on-route activities.
• Receive, record, and process delivery receipts and other logistics documents.
• Prepare and maintain logistics reports using MS Excel and relevant company systems.
• Coordinate delivery loading, routing, and scheduling to maximize fleet utilization.
• Monitor LPG supply, cylinders, and other merchandise to help prevent stock shortages and operational disruptions.
• Monitor delivery personnel and address delivery-related concerns and customer complaints.
• Prepare reports related to delivery performance, cost to move, operating expenses, and other logistics activities.
• Coordinate truck maintenance schedules and report vehicle abnormalities or potential breakdowns.
• Use GPS tools to monitor truck locations and delivery movements.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and transmission of logistics-related records.
• Assist with logistics-related administrative tasks, cash fund transactions, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related course.
• Preferably with experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledgeable in delivery scheduling, route planning, and truck/fleet monitoring.
• Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable using logistics or distribution systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with drivers, operations teams, plants, and other departments.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work in a roving/field-based setup and travel to different company locations or operational areas as required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and respond to time-sensitive operational concerns.
