Logistics Data & BI Analyst

About the role

This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and operational reports for logistics and warehouse operations. You will analyze data related to inbound, inventory, outbound, productivity, capacity, and other operational KPIs, translating business and operational requirements into appropriate KPIs, data logic, reports, and dashboard solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and operational reports for logistics and warehouse operations
• Analyze data related to inbound, inventory, outbound, productivity, capacity, and other operational KPIs
• Extract, clean, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Excel, Power Query, and other relevant data sources
• Build and maintain data models, calculations, and reporting logic in Power BI
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies between source data, reports, and dashboard outputs
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Translate business and operational requirements into appropriate KPIs, data logic, reports, and dashboard solutions
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and coordinate with relevant teams when additional system or data support is required
• Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency
• Maintain clear documentation of important data definitions, business logic, and reporting requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Good working knowledge of Power BI, including data transformation, data modeling, and visualization
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including data retrieval, filtering, joins, aggregations, and basic data validation
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to data accuracy
• Able to understand business requirements and translate them into structured analytical or reporting solutions
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks and take ownership of deliverables
• Good communication and coordination skills with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, BI, or data analytics is an advantage
• Experience with Power Query, DAX, Python, cloud data platforms, or data warehouse environments is an advantage
