Logistics Delivery Engineer

Position Overview

Responsible for end-to-end management of global customer orders from order confirmation through final delivery. This role coordinates warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and cross-functional supply chain resources to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries while continuously improving logistics efficiency, cost performance, customer satisfaction, and overall supply chain competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Delivery Management

• Manage end-to-end execution of global customer orders to ensure on-time, accurate, and complete delivery.
• Monitor order fulfillment status and proactively identify and resolve delivery issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth order execution.
• Establish delivery tracking mechanisms and continuously improve OTD (On-Time Delivery) performance.

2. Logistics & Transportation Management

• Plan and execute domestic and international transportation solutions.
• Manage and evaluate logistics service providers to improve transportation efficiency and optimize logistics costs.
• Coordinate ocean, air, rail, and road transportation resources.
• Handle customs clearance, import/export operations, and trade compliance activities.
• Support dangerous goods transportation management and special logistics projects.

3. Supply Chain Coordination & Customer Support

• Collaborate with Sales teams to develop customer delivery plans.
• Act as the primary logistics and delivery interface for customers.
• Promote information sharing across supply chain functions to improve execution effectiveness.
• Support customer audits and logistics improvement initiatives.

4. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain KPI monitoring systems for logistics and delivery performance.
• Conduct data analysis using SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
• Lead logistics and delivery process optimization projects.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

5. Risk Management

• Identify and assess logistics and supply chain risks.
• Develop contingency plans for transportation disruptions, port congestion, and supply interruptions.
• Monitor changes in international trade policies and logistics market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout logistics operations.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in international logistics and import/export operations.
• Experience in new energy, chemical, battery, electrolyte, or related industries is preferred.
• Experience in dangerous goods logistics is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Solid knowledge of international trade, customs clearance, and import/export operations.
• Familiarity with ocean, air, rail, and road transportation management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
• Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with global customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake short-term international business travel.
