What they need
About the role
This is a truck driver position responsible for safe and timely delivery of cargo while maintaining vehicle safety standards and coordinating with logistics teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform checklist of truck to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available
- Ensure any mechanical issues with the vehicle are reported to Mechanic and corrected before driving
- Communicate and coordinate with Logistics Coordinator regarding delivery schedules
- Check all documents necessary for driving
- During delivery, observe and follow applicable traffic rules and regulations inside and outside PEZA zone areas
- Secure cargo and properly arrange and balance it within the vehicle
- Plan routes and ensure meeting delivery schedule
- Assist helper in unloading of items specially at times when urgent delivery is required
- Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
About you
- At least high school graduate
- Relevant experience
- Valid driver's license with restrictions of A, A1, B, B1, B2, C and D
