Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day transportation operations, coordinate vehicle movement, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain smooth communication between customers, transporters, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatches and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Arrange transportation through approved transport vendors.
• Track vehicle movement and shipment status until delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, transporters, and customers.
• Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues promptly.
• Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) is collected and maintained.
• Maintain accurate shipment and dispatch records.
• Monitor freight costs and optimize transportation expenses.
• Follow up with transporters for vehicle placement and timely dispatch.
• Coordinate with the Sales team regarding delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Update customers on shipment status whenever required.
• Ensure all dispatch documents are complete and accurate.
• Handle delivery escalations and coordinate for quick resolution.
• Maintain daily logistics MIS and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and safety guidelines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of transportation documentation.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or any related field.

Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or dispatch operations.
• Experience in the Steel, Manufacturing, Building Materials, Cement, Construction, Metals, or Industrial Products industry is preferred.
