Logistics Executive

Role & responsibilities :

1). Verification of box sizes, Freight negotiation, Arrangement of transport, Preparation of Despatch Documents as per Purchase Order terms and conditions, Verification of Packing lists with invoices.

2). Arrange and monitor physical despatch of material along with relevant documents w.r.t. terms and condition of Purchase Orders. Preparation of e way bills.

3). Preparation of monthly Despatch and freight charges statement and circulate to all concerned.

4). Arrange, monitoring subcontract material movement with local transporters alongwith relevant documents like transport requisition, e way bills etc.

5). Transporters bill passing as per rate contracts, approvals, preparation of PR sheets and related docs. for bill passing, SAP entries.

6). Preparation of transporters Rate Cards with negotiation.

7). Follow-up with major department like Marketing, Accounts, Assembly, Spares, CSD, Turbine, Stores Q.A. for getting various documents like Purchase Orders, Despatch Instructions/ clearances, SAP system issues, Payment Confirmations, Packing List, IRNs, Test Records etc.

8). To prepare and maintain QMS, EHS(Safety), Kaizen record and to attend audits of the same. Prepare record and attend statutory audits of companys internal/external auditors.

8) Follow-up and correspondents with transporters for arrangement of vehicles.

Preferred candidate profile :

1). Checking of physical Inventory within regular intervals.

2). To face various internal and external audits planned against QMS and EHS.

3). Wooden scrap and Steel scrap vehicle placing, loading and arranging for the required documents like gate-pass, invoice copies etc.

4). Prepare and submit supporting data required for statutory compliances to respective depts.
