Logistics Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipment coordination and monitoring, shipping documentation, freight rate sourcing, billing preparation, and logistics reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and conduct initial checking of shipping documents to support customs brokerage and shipment monitoring activities.
• Book and coordinate shipments and monitor their movement from origin to destination.
• Conduct daily monitoring of shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and consignees.
• Prepare Request for Payment (RFP) documents and Billing Statements (BS) accurately and on time.
• Source competitive freight rates from shipping lines, trucking partners, and other service providers.
• Negotiate and coordinate freight rates with carriers and logistics service providers.
• Conduct comparative analysis of freight costs among carriers and service providers.
• Prepare logistics, billing, and cost performance reports for management review.
• Prepare and submit the Monthly Savings Report.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, consignees, carriers, brokers, and service providers to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration or a related field.
• Experience in import/export documentation.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, customs brokerage, or related operations is an advantage.
• Good understanding of shipment coordination and logistics processes.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in handling shipping and billing documents.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in freight cost comparison and reporting.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Office 365, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• LCB License/Certification is an advantage but not required.
• Willing to work 6 days per week and on-site in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
• Preferably available to start immediately or within a short notice period.

Employment Details

This is a 6-month contractual reliever position, with the expected contract period starting in November 2026, intended to provide operational support during a temporary staffing requirement.
