Logistics Executive (Ref: 37898)
Salary: S$2,800 - S$4,000

Our client is a Japanese-listed company and a leading producer of seasonings. They are seeking a proactive Logistics Executive to manage international logistics and supply chain operations, including order fulfilment, freight negotiations and marine cargo insurance claims.

【 Responsibilities 】

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support smooth business operations.
• Coordinate with factories and customers to manage end-to-end order fulfilment, proactively identifying and resolving supply chain issues.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and coordinate shipment bookings and related arrangements.
• Provide guidance on cargo loss prevention and liaise with insurance providers on claims and related negotiations, as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments and related activities to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

【What you will receive】

• Variable Bonus, subject to company and individual performance.

【Requirements & Preferences】

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in freight, logistics coordination and trade or sales operations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience negotiating ocean freight rates with carriers.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills to liaise regularly with sales representatives, factories, suppliers and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to coordinate orders, shipments and related operational matters with English- and Mandarin-speaking business counterparts.
• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas business trips.

(Advantageous)

• Relevant experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Experience using SAP HANA or SAP Business One.
• Experience coordinating with Japan-based teams or working in a Japanese business environment.
• Availability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
