Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day logistics coordination, order fulfilment, shipment tracking, dispatch planning, and delivery operations at WOGOM.

The candidate will coordinate with sellers, distributors, transporters, warehouse teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth movement of goods and timely deliveries to retailers. The role requires strong follow-up skills, accurate documentation, and the ability to resolve delivery and order-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Processing & Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate with sellers, distributors, and warehouse teams for order processing and dispatch.
• Ensure orders are dispatched within committed timelines.
• Track order status from dispatch to final delivery.
• Follow up on pending orders, delayed shipments, and delivery discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order fulfilment issues.

2. Transportation & Delivery Management

• Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and logistics service providers for shipment movement.
• Arrange transportation based on delivery locations, shipment requirements, and cost considerations.
• Monitor delivery timelines and ensure timely delivery to retailers.
• Maintain shipment tracking details and proof of delivery (POD).
• Escalate delays, damaged shipments, and lost consignments for timely resolution.

3. Seller & Retailer Coordination

• Coordinate with sellers and distributors to confirm product availability and dispatch readiness.
• Communicate shipment and delivery updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the resolution of delivery-related queries and complaints.
• Coordinate with sales and customer support teams to address retailer order issues.
• Maintain effective working relationships with logistics partners and business stakeholders.

4. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding stock availability, inward receipts, packing, and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received, goods dispatched, and stock transfers.
• Assist with stock reconciliation and discrepancy reporting.
• Coordinate product returns, replacements, and damaged-goods claims.
• Ensure proper handling and packaging of goods during transit.

5. Logistics Documentation

• Maintain dispatch records, invoices, delivery challans, transporter receipts, and shipment details.
• Coordinate e-way bills and other applicable transportation documents.
• Collect and maintain proof of delivery for completed shipments.
• Verify freight bills and supporting documents before submitting them for approval.
• Ensure logistics records are updated accurately and on time.

6. Cost & Operational Efficiency

• Obtain freight quotations and coordinate with transporters for competitive rates.
• Monitor transportation expenses and identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs.
• Support efficient shipment consolidation and route planning where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to internal logistics processes and service-level timelines.

7. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain daily trackers for orders, dispatches, deliveries, returns, and pending shipments.
• Prepare regular reports on delivery performance and logistics expenses.
• Track delayed shipments and follow up with the concerned stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data using MS Excel and internal business systems.
• Share operational updates and unresolved issues with the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations is preferred.
• 1–4 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
• Experience in B2B commerce, e-commerce, distribution, FMCG, or retail operations is preferred.
• Basic understanding of order fulfilment, transportation, warehouse coordination, and inventory movement.
• Familiarity with invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and proof of delivery.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.
• Experience with ERP, order management systems, or logistics platforms is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and shipments simultaneously.
