Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities:

·       Coordinate outbound and inbound logistics activities, including delivery scheduling and liaison with transporters, couriers, and third-party logistics providers.

·       Manage finished goods warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading and unloading of containers and shipments.

·       Ensure proper inspection of goods during loading and unloading, and promptly report any stock variances, damages, or discrepancies to management for investigation and corrective action.

·       Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices, including regular stock counts and reconciliation.

·       Coordinate closely with internal manufacturing and supply teams to ensure stock availability and timely replenishment to support customer orders.

·       Prepare, verify, and manage logistics documentation such as Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and related records.

·       Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of delivery and logistics documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

·       Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered within agreed timelines.

·       Monitor logistics and transportation costs, including freight and courier expenses, and propose improvements or cost-saving initiatives where possible.

·       Track and analyse logistics performance indicators such as delivery lead time, shipment accuracy, and on-time delivery, and prepare basic reports for management review.

·       Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and delivery performance.

·       Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in logistics and warehouse operations.

·       Experience handling containerized shipments and warehouse loading/unloading activities is an added advantage.

·       Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

·       Familiar with inventory control systems, delivery documentation, and basic operational reporting.

·       Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet delivery deadlines.

·       Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·       Knowledge of 5S, ISO, or basic operational compliance is an added advantage.

·       Willing and able to work in a warehouse and loading area environment when required.
