Logistics Executive

JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing daily logistics, shipping, and customs activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role oversees shipment documentation, customs compliance, transportation arrangements, and coordination with forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments. The incumbent ensures all import and export activities comply with customs regulations, company policies, and LMW requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving transportation issues.
2. Prepare, verify, and maintain all shipping, import, export, and customs documentation, including K1, K2, and K3 declarations.
3. Liaise with freight forwarders, Customs authorities, government agencies, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and compliance.
4. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, shipment indicators, and adherence to company logistics policies and customs regulations.
5. Track orders, monitor delivery status, and investigate shipment discrepancies to meet customer and business requirements.
6. Verify logistics and freight invoices and coordinate with Finance for timely payment processing.
7. Manage LMW compliance activities, including license renewal, periodic reporting, and maintenance of required records.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in any field.
• Minimum 5 years and above of working experience in logistics, shipping, import/export, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, Customs Forms K1, K2, K3, and LMW requirements.
• Good understanding of transportation, shipping, production, and supply chain processes, with experience coordinating freight forwarders, customs authorities, and external logistics providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
