Logistics Executive

Zahr Freighters is looking for a motivated and organized Logistics Executive to coordinate daily freight and logistics operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of shipment coordination, transportation planning, and logistics documentation. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure shipments are handled efficiently and delivered according to schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics operations.
• Arrange and monitor the movement of goods through appropriate transportation channels.
• Coordinate with shipping companies, transport providers, suppliers, and customers.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, and other logistics paperwork.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules to ensure timely transportation.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transportation activities, and delivery confirmations.
• Assist with customs clearance coordination and related documentation when required.
• Communicate with warehouse teams to coordinate cargo handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Obtain transportation quotations and assist with logistics cost comparisons.
• Ensure logistics activities follow company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and update shipment tracking systems.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide information about shipment progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and logistics coordination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of shipment documentation and transportation procedures.
• Familiarity with import/export processes and customs documentation is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
