Logistics Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Engineer (Executive) to join our warehouse and logistics operations team in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising logistics processes, improving warehouse efficiency, analysing operational performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, analyse, and optimise warehouse operations, logistics processes, and material flow.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, material handling, and operational KPIs.
• Analyse operational data and prepare performance reports for management.
• Support warehouse layout optimisation, space utilisation, and manpower productivity improvements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, transportation, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues.
• Develop, review, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support logistics improvement projects, cost reduction initiatives, and operational efficiency programmes.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality standards, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or warehouse logistics will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational data analysis.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, SAP, Lean, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to work on-site in Tanjung Malim, Perak.
