Logistics Executive (Pooling)

About the role

As a Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for analysing, reporting on, and improving our logistics performance to ensure efficient delivery of products to our customers. This role is essential to our operations, directly supporting Nestlé's commitment to delivering quality products on time, every time, and contributing to the company's overall profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse logistics data and operational metrics to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain
• Prepare detailed logistics reports including cost analysis, performance indicators, transportation efficiency, and warehouse utilisation metrics
• Monitor and track shipments, inventory levels and delivery schedules to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfilment
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation and customer service teams to resolve logistics challenges and optimise operations
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce logistics costs whilst maintaining service quality standards
• Manage relationships with logistics partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure adherence to service level agreements
• Prepare regular performance dashboards and executive summaries for senior management
• Support demand forecasting and inventory planning activities to optimise stock levels across distribution networks
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards in all logistics operations
• Identify and propose technology solutions to enhance logistics efficiency and visibility

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management or related operations roles
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, reporting and using logistics software systems
• Demonstrated experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
• Excellent knowledge of logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, inventory management and distribution
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools for creating reports and dashboards
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of freight management, customs procedures or regulatory compliance in the logistics industry is preferred
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous
