Job Vacancy: Logistics / Freight Forwarding Operations Executive

We are looking for an experienced Logistics / Freight Forwarding Operations Executive to join our team in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, carriers, ports, customs authorities, and overseas agents.
• Handle import/export documentation, pre-alerts, arrival notices, delivery orders, and shipment status updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance and cargo delivery to ensure timely movement of shipments.
• Liaise with transportation providers and ensure smooth coordination of deliveries.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve operational and documentation issues.
• Negotiate and coordinate with shipping lines and service providers where required.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide regular shipping/logistics status reports.
• Support KPI monitoring, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable import/export and shipping regulations.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in freight forwarding and shipping operations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs clearance.
• Experience coordinating with shipping lines, ports, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Good communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with logistics systems/TMS or Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is an advantage.
• Must be locally available in Qatar.
• Must be available to join immediately.
