Logistics Intern (6 months)

We are currently looking for a Logistics Intern within our Downstream Supply Chain Department based in Geneva (Switzerland)

INTERN (H/F) – Logistics Intern - (Downstream Supply Chain Department) (English / French)

Contract type : Paid internship (6 months) with school agreement (mandatory)

Location : Geneva, Switzerland

Dates : January 2027 - June 2027

CONTEXT

Christian Louboutin is an international company creating, manufacturing and distributing luxury shoes and leather goods. During this internship you will be supporting the Central Transportation and logistics team with the coordination of day to day activities & will participate in selected project work for continuous improvement.

MISSION

Transport coordination:

• Follow up outbound shipment to both Retail & Wholesale doors and coordinate with our 3PL logistics partners and freight forwarders
• Monitor in-transit freight and troubleshoot problems to ensure on-time delivery
• Respond to customers in a timely manner and help resolving shipping and logistics issues
• Build temporary transportation plan with regions and in collaboration with Logistic operations and transport coordinator
• Manage and follow-up express shipments
• Support billing process and analysis for transportation services

Leadtime monitoring and claim management:

• Follow up on shipment status in the TMS and support the investigation of exceptions with carriers and relevant stakeholders for Europe & America scope
• Develop Daily, Weekly, Monthly KPI reports on leadtime performance
• Record, analyses and evaluate issues affecting the timely delivery
• Report to management graphs and action plan to improve leadtimes

TMS project support :

• Support the TMS project team with system configuration, testing and day-to-day tool-related activities.
• Contribute to the identification, analysis and resolution of technical issues in collaboration with key project stakeholders.
• Monitor activities within the TMS, support data quality and follow up on identified issues to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Global Transport, Operations and Customs budget tracking and analysis

• Support budget consolidation and structure for central Transport, Operations and Customs activities
• Guarantee and control on a monthly basis that all invoices are received from logistics and customs partners to feed properly our global operations budget review.

PROFILE

• Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program (business school or university) in supply chain, transportation or have a particular interest in the supply chain field with a mandatory internship agreement
• A first significant professional experience is required (for example 6-months internship or several summer jobs)
• Excellent analytical and computer skills; proficient in Excel (VBA a strong asset) Power Point and Word
• Fluent in French and English
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail is essential
• Good team player and ability to work independently
• Authorised to work in Switzerland
