Logistics Intern

We are looking for Summer Interns!

Reliant Transportation is one of the  largest Bulk Brokerage Firms in the Industry , servicing many Fortune 500 customers. We are looking for outgoing and eager college interns to jump into our fast-paced work environment and contribute from day one! No day is the same as you work side-by-side with our team of brokers, salesman, customer service, and accounting teams to provide solutions for our customers.

We are based out of Southeast Lincoln and offer a casual work environment (Yes, sweatpants are part of our work attire!).

This is a paid internship, with the chance of full-time employment at the commencement. This is Reliant’ s goal, as we are rapidly expanding our operations! Our interns will also help grow and fulfill our core values:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inside Sales

• Work and contribute results alongside our brokerage team
• Engage in business development and form meaningful carrier relationships
• Negotiate fair market pricing and freight opportunities with trusted carriers
• Communicate efficiently with our Customer Service Team to ensure full industry execution
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolve any transportation related issues such as delays, carrier problems or load discrepancies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service/admin

• Work alongside our sales team to ensure amazing customer service
• Communicate updates to our customers
• Enter new contracts for our sales team
• Process freight tickets for invoicing and billing
