CCL Global is supporting a major international energy operator delivering a large-scale development programme in Iraq. As part of the client’s nationalisation campaign, we are specifically targeting experienced Iraqi nationals for this position ONLY.

Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will lead end-to-end logistics supporting major projects and operational activities, including transport, warehousing, freight, inventory and personnel movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the project and operations logistics strategy.
• Manage transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding and supply-chain activities.
• Oversee vehicle fleets and personnel-movement coordination.
• Manage material supply, storage and inventory control.
• Lead logistics tenders, contracts and service providers.
• Optimise logistics costs and operational efficiency.
• Integrate logistics support across projects, drilling and field operations.
• Establish KPIs and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Interface with authorities, partners, contractors and logistics providers.
• Develop Iraqi logistics teams and local operational capability.
• Enforce HSE, security and road-safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 15 years’ Oil & Gas logistics or major industrial experience.
• Strong knowledge of transport, warehousing and inventory management.
• Experience managing logistics contracts and third-party providers.
• Working knowledge of logistics systems and SAP.
• Strong operational leadership and coordination skills.
• Fluent English and Arabic are mandatory.
