Logistics Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels.
• Inventory & Warehousing: Oversee inventory management, storage, and warehousing operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements using data-driven insights and industry best practices.
• Logistics Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels.
• Transportation & Distribution : Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Supplier & Vendor Management : Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Job Assignment & Role Clarity – Define and allocate tasks to ensure efficient team operations.
• Team Motivation & Performance – Foster a high-morale work environment, encouraging productivity and engagement.
• Leadership & Coaching – Guide and mentor team members to develop skills and achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum education requirement

University or above.

2. Relevant experience and minimum years required

At least 3 years leadership role, in charge logistic and purchasing management or related industry.

3. Basic skills requirements

Language: Good command both in written and spoken English/Chinese.

Computer: Proficient PC skills (MS Office related applications).

Competence Requirements:

1. DC management experience

2. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills

3. Good communication skills in oral and written English.

4. A strongly customer-focused attitude.

5. Commodity market information awareness.

6. International trade experience.
