Logistics Manager

Report To:-

Group Finance and Logistics Director

Key Job Function:-

To manage the overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize the cost of the organization’s supply chain, with a specific requirement to travel to oversea as needed.

Job Scope:-

• Plan and oversee logistics program, including incoming and outgoing delivery.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including warehouse management and shipping activities.
• Utilize IT system to manage stock level, delivery time and transport cost.
• Implement logistics strategies, tracking the quality, quantity and cost-effectiveness of the movement and goods storage.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.
• Analyse and optimize logistical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in all logistics operations.
• Manage budget and forecast for logistics activity.
• Lead and supervise a team of logistics staff.
• Willingness to travel to oversea as needed to oversee logistics operations and ensure seamless supply chain management.

Required Qualification: -

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management or related role.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics management for efficient and effective supply chain operations.
4. Proficiency in logistics software and tools (eg. ERP, WMS, TMS).
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
6. Ability to manage logistics operations, including coordinating and monitoring supply chain process.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
8. Willingness and able to travel to oversea as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:-

1. Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified In Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) or similar.
2. Experience and familiarity with garment factory and shipping process.
3. Experience with international logistics and global supply chain.
4. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or other process improvement methodologies.
