Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics and transportation operations for Candor Food.
• Plan and coordinate daily dispatches and deliveries to customers, distributors, and other locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining service levels.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, sales, procurement, and finance teams for smooth order fulfillment.
• Manage transportation vendors, transporters, drivers, and logistics partners.
• Negotiate transportation rates and monitor logistics costs.
• Track vehicles and shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Handle delivery delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, PODs, and transport documents.
• Monitor freight costs, transportation expenses, and logistics KPIs.
• Develop and implement cost-effective transportation and distribution plans.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of food products as per company quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor product movement and coordinate with warehouses for stock availability and dispatch planning.
• Maintain records of transporter performance, delivery timelines, freight rates, and logistics expenses.
• Analyze logistics data and prepare regular MIS reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and resolve customer and distributor delivery-related concerns
