DIGITAL PORTALS LTD. JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Logistics Manager Department: Logistics / Operations Location: Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦350,000/month, depending on experience and competence

JOB PURPOSE

To plan, coordinate and supervise the company's logistics operations, ensuring the timely, efficient and cost-effective movement of products, materials and customer orders from the point of dispatch to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily logistics, dispatch and delivery activities. Plan and monitor deliveries to ensure orders are completed within required timelines. Coordinate drivers, dispatch personnel and logistics resources. Track customer orders and provide timely updates on delivery status. Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Assign and monitor delivery schedules and routes. Monitor vehicle use, fuel consumption, maintenance and other logistics costs. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, waybills, delivery notes and related records. Monitor returned, delayed, damaged or undelivered orders and ensure appropriate follow-up. Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular reports for Management. Identify and resolve logistics delays, operational challenges and delivery issues. Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulations. Supervise and evaluate logistics staff and drivers. Support cost reduction, process improvement and efficient use of logistics resources. Perform other duties assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

HND/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management or a related field. Proven experience in logistics, transportation, distribution or operations management. Experience supervising drivers, dispatch personnel or logistics teams. Strong knowledge of delivery coordination, route planning and logistics documentation. Experience in trading, distribution, manufacturing, FMCG or similar business environments is an advantage. Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant logistics/business software. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries and priorities. High level of accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
