Logistics Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee our end-to-end logistics operations. The successful candidate will have a strong retail industry background, experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and expertise in fleet operations and vehicle maintenance. Candidates residing in or near Valenzuela, Metro Manila are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

·      Plan, manage, and optimize daily logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
·      Oversee and coordinate with 3PL providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
·      Manage the company's fleet, including vehicle scheduling, utilization, preventive maintenance, repairs, registration, and regulatory compliance.
·      Monitor fleet performance and maintenance costs to maximize vehicle availability and operational efficiency.
·      Ensure accurate inventory movement and timely deliveries to stores and customers.
·      Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve service levels while reducing operational costs.
·      Track and analyze logistics and fleet performance through KPIs and recommend continuous process improvements.
·      Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
·      Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
·      At least 3 years of experience in a Logistics Manager or similar leadership role.
·      Required: Experience in the retail industry.
·      Required: Proven experience managing 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers.
·      Required: Hands-on experience in fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance scheduling, repairs, and fleet compliance.
·      Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations.
·      Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is an advantage.
·      Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
·      Must be willing to be assigned in Valenzuela, Metro Manila.
