Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the company’s logistics operations, transportation, deliveries, and coordination with vendors, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple logistics activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day logistics and transportation activities.
• Manage end-to-end movement of materials/products from pickup to final delivery.
• Coordinate with transporters, logistics partners, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, shortages, damages, or other delivery-related issues.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with transporters and logistics service providers.
• Negotiate transportation rates and support cost optimization wherever possible.
• Verify and coordinate logistics-related documentation, invoices, PODs, challans, and other required records.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Monitor logistics costs, transportation expenses, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure smooth movement of materials.
• Handle escalations from clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders related to logistics.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and applicable transportation/logistics requirements.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular MIS/reports on deliveries, costs, and operational performance.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and guide the logistics team and allocate responsibilities based on operational requirements.
• Monitor team performance and ensure tasks are completed within defined timelines.
• Support management with logistics planning, reporting, and operational decisions.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate degree in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics/transportation operations.
• Prior experience managing a logistics team and multiple vendors/transporters will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
